Christian Baker LMT
Massage Therapist & Owner
Christian is a graduate of the Therapeutic Bodywork Practitioner program (Class of 2013) at the Naturopathic Institute of Therapies and Education in lower Michigan. A born-and-raised Michigander, he moved to the Upper Peninsula over ten years ago to attend Michigan Tech in Houghton—and liked it so much he decided to make it home.
The best part of Christian’s work is seeing real improvement in his clients’ day-to-day lives. “When someone walks out feeling better than they came in, that makes my day. When I see them later and they tell me they’ve had less pain and stiffness since then—that makes my whole week.”
Christian specializes in deep to medium-light massage and reflexology, and is also well-practiced in aromatherapy and pregnancy massage. He enjoys a good puzzle or challenge and takes pride in providing thoughtful, effective bodywork tailored to each client.

Relaxation focused massage
Never underestimate the tangible value of some much needed RnR There is nothing wrong with informing your therapist that you would like to focus more on relaxation today, don't worry we will still get plenty of therapeutic work done, but this lets us know that today is more about over all rest and restoration, than specific line items.
Reflexology
This modality focuses on the feet and sometimes hands, and works by stimulating nerves system related points, improving blood flow, and relaxing intrinsic muscles in your feet that help with walking and standing. Many clients find marked improvement of foot pain as well as over all relaxation.
Therapeutic massage
Our staff is passionate about helping each client feel meaningful lasting improvement in there daily lives, less pain, and greater ease of movement. Therapeutic massage can help you reclaim your life from the aches, pains, and stiffness that can bog you down. Massage also makes a great compliment to other wellness activities and treatments, such as physical therapy, exercise, and athletic activities. Ask your medical providers if they would recommend massage therapy as supplement to your current care.

Navigating the mall
Washington st. entrances (main entrance)
Take the first stairway you see down. Turn Right at the central fountain, then right again.
Elevator access: go past the stairs and continue strait to the back of the building. Take elevator to the lowest level. Follow the main corridor toward the fountain. Turn left at the fountain then right.
